If you are new with us and to ensure prompt service, please print and fill out a Medical History Form and a Consent to Treat Form. Please remember to always bring an up to date insurance card.

Although we have privileges at many of the area hospitals, we primarily work at the following locations:

Insurance and Billing
Barron & Homesley Orthopedic Specialist accepts all major insurances, including Blue Cross Blue Shield and Medicare. Please call our office at 704-365-6730 if you have a specific insurance inquiry.
We do not accept self-pay or Medicaid patients.
Please note that we perform very technically advanced procedures and utilize physician assistants (PA). If your procedure requires a PA to be involved, you will be billed for those PA services.
If you have an emergency, please call 911. If you have a post-operative question or complication, please call the nurse.
Our prescription drug policy has changed. We require 48 business hours advance notice for prescription refills. We ask that these refill requests be faxed directly from your pharmacy to 704-362-3028; this helps the process occurs more quickly. We will not accept personal requests for prescription refills on our prescription refill phone line, voice mail or through the front desk. As a surgical practice, we want to make sure your pain needs are addressed appropriately, but we require our physicians review all the refills to evaluate possible surgical complications. Please remember to address all refills with the doctor at the time of your appointment. All the patients that have been advised to attend pain management or are in pain management will not receive refills.
If you do not have a prescription with a pharmacy and are in need of pain medication, we ask that you make an appointment to be evaluated prior to requesting pain medication.

Barron & Homesley Orthopedic Specialists can assist you with scheduling your MRI. First, the MRI must be pre-certified through our office before your test can be scheduled. Once the MRI is approved, the MRI facility will contact you to setup your appointment. A follow-up appointment is required three days after your MRI is completed, which can be scheduled by calling us at 704-365-6730
Barron & Homesley Orthopedic Specialists can assist you with a reliable compensation evaluation with an Independent Medical Examination. A fee of $950 will be required to be paid at least one week prior to scheduling an appointment. If it is determined that surgery is needed, you will need to provide surgery approval before your surgical procedure is scheduled.
